Job Description for Pharmaceutical Sales Representative
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for sales of select Pan American products within a defined geographical territory. The Sales Representative will detail the selected products to designated physicians outlining the benefits of prescribing Pan American products to their patients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Detail Pan American products to designated physicians as defined by the company.
- Plan and execute a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly itinerary including a plan of action.
- Maintain accurate and timely company records and reports including:
- requisition forms
- call reports
- inventory
- expense reports
- Personal Digital Assistant (PDA)
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
- Check Company provided voicemail on a daily basis.
- Adhere to all company policies as per Company Policy Manual.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain the company provided automobile according to our company policy. Accurately maintain inventory of product samples and displays (lifting of 50-70 lbs). After-hours and weekend travel sometimes required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
College Degree (preferred, specifically a Bachelor of Science)
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record per our company policy
DEA background clearance and acceptable drug screen
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products- software
Demonstrated initiative
Customer focus
